Tea Accessories

If tea is just an occasional beverage, there are minimal accessories that are actually necessary. But if drinking tea develops into more of a hobby – or habit – it can be fun to add accessories to make the experience more enjoyable. Also, it is easier to brew tea if you have the proper accessories. Serving tea is also improved by the proper accessories.

The first, and possibly most diverse type of tea accessory is The Teapot. There are a multitude of shapes, sizes, functions, brands, colors, and styles of tea pots. Some are quite simple, some beautiful collector’s items. Here are a few of our favorites, feel free to click on any of the images to go browse and purchase these items:

Beautiful and symbolic. Featuring a brightly plumed kingfisher (a symbol of luck) perched upon a blooming peony branch (a symbol of Spring, female beauty and prosperity), this mug was created using a firing technique created during the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644 AD) in China. The luminescent, silky glaze is impossible to resist and helps the hand gilded gold and colors leap off of the tea cup. The red chop mark is translated, May your dreams come true . This 10oz mug includes a matching, removable infuser and lid. So you can make your tea right in the cup!
